Hi, I’m Rowan Cooper, an actor based in Los Angeles with roots in Salt Lake City, Utah. I began my career in the indie film scene, where I developed a deep love for independent projects, particularly in the thriller and horror genres. While I now call LA home, I’m proud to continue collaborating on films in Salt Lake City, where my passion for storytelling first took shape.
I’ve always been deeply curious about the world, which is why I’ve dedicated myself to learning. With multiple degrees and the honor of graduating summa cum laude, I believe that knowledge is key to understanding the vast complexity of the human experience.
At 17, I had the incredible opportunity to compete on The Next Olympic Hopeful, a reality series where athletes vie for a chance to join the U.S. Olympic Team. With 15 years of professional swimming experience behind me, I was selected to compete in the rowing draft. That moment felt like the perfect intersection of my two worlds: the drive and discipline I’d cultivated as an athlete meeting my growing passion for storytelling as an actor. It was the ideal way to close one chapter of my life and fully commit to the next. In that moment, everything became clear—I was meant to use my experiences to tell stories that connect with others.
Now in Los Angeles, I’m excited to bring that passion for storytelling to new audiences and opportunities. Whether working on a gripping indie film or exploring new projects in TV and film, I’m committed to creating meaningful stories that leave a lasting impact.
